Just Press Rave

Everyone's a DJ these days: I'm one too. Here's the first in a series of mixes for your listening pleasure, Just Press Rave (See what I did?). Here's the tracklist..

Just Press Rave

1 The Mole- For the Lost
2 Simon Baker- Plastik (Todd Terje Remix)
3 Sister Sledge- Lost in Music (The Revenge Rework)
4 The Revenge- Savin' the Day
5 Cronk Family Enterprises- The Fitting Room
6 Capracara- King of the Witches (Rub n Tug Remix)
7 Franz Ferdinand- Ulysses (Beyond the Wizards Sleeve Remix)
8 Blehorkestar Bakija Bakic- Fizheuer Zieheuer (T2 Edit)
9 Quixote ft Lisa Li Lund- Before I Started to Dance (Chateau Flight Dub)
10 Royksopp- Happy Up Here (Holy Fuck Reinterpretation)
11 Baby Oliver- Primetime (Uptown Express)
12 Metro Area- Dance Reaction (Just Beats)
13 Grace Jones- Williams Blood (Aeroplane Dub)
14 Scott Walker- Get Behind Me

If you'd like me to come and rave up your disco, please get in touch. Royksopp's newie is a bit too chirpy for my liking, Holy Fuck save the day with a gem of a Rejiggle.

Think I'm a little obsessed with Todd Terje at the min, could easily have done a mix using only his tunes & re-edits. Here he is getting busy with Rogue Cat, the new side project of Dean Meredith (Chicken Lips). Get it here.

Many thanks to Lord Huntoir for today's picture..

Marvellous. Been listening to it on the train to Preston this week. Fuck me, it's cold there.

Anyroadup, digging the mix. It could have got going a bit earlier for me but I am an impatient twat so you probably shouldn't worry about it too much.

Particularly loving Capracara and Metro Area - and that Scott Walker track is just brilliant.

More please soon.

Many thanks Mr Expletive, this is the first in a series of mixes. The next one will be a bit more banging I reckon.
On a completely separate note, do you know of any script writers/developers? I gots me an idea..

I know a few, a couple who'ved done stuff for the Beeb (I don't think either of them actually like me though)and Dean Cavanagh, who does stuff with Irvine Welsh - but I haven't seen him for years .. not much help, sorry.

Got an idea for a musical?
