We get a lot of e-mails here from bands/DJ's telling us about their new creations and generally bigging themselves up. This is all very well (promotion is the name of the game these days), but our ears pricked up when we received a communication from Portland duo Saudade telling us that their new record, 'The Hooded One's', has been a curse since it's conception.
They describe it as 'weird not ambient shoe shit gaze acousmatic noisy garage'. We describe it as fucking mint. And they're giving it away for nish at the moment, head on over to their blog and grab it.
